Día de los Muertos Community Altar - Through this community altar, students from Bryant Elementary School in the Mission remember and celebrate their loved ones and invite you to do the same. The lives of the children who passed as they immigrated along with their families in search for a new life are mourned through this altar. This altar acknowledges a loss of innocence, as we remember and honor the lives of those who are the victims of people attempting to put unnatural borders on the five elements: earth, water, air, fire, love.
