Migration Metaphor

I'm exploring immigration/emigration/migration, through metaphor in a new project. I am drawing directly into a sketchbook, working solely one-touch to stop me from overthinking. I'm delving into my personal thoughts, feelings, experiences and observations. Of course, I'm continuing with the idea that roots and wings somehow represent our ties to the land.
