August 1st: Art Walk in SF!

Mara Lea Brown is a Bay Area artist who explores identity and relationships through realistic and surreal charcoal drawings, paintings and mixed media. “Where Words Fail,” her latest exhibition, showcases eerie compositions of melding figures and portraits drawn from live models. The juxtaposition of body parts and dissonant facial expressions highlight our ephemeral and multifaceted shared humanity.
